Hi friends, I thought I would film my preferred and kind of everyday makeup for you since I got myself this new and amazing Foundation, and by the same opportunity show you how I undo my single twists and kind-of pre-poo/style my afro hair! I know there are a lot of “Kind of” today…:)
And I know I love almost all of my makeup products, but this one…; b
This new foundation is the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation! I have promised a skincare video, which I will definitely deliver very soon, and this video will explain a lot about my choice of foundation! Long story short, I’ve been very interested in ingredients and their functions in Skincare, whether they are needed or not! I came across this foundation which happens to be vegan, stays 24hours, waterproof, gives you a natural matte finish look, feels breathable, is weightless and can be build up to a medium coverage!
As far as I’m concerned, it does give me that natural look and stays on for hours! I love the fact that I still have the coverage with the natural look! All that I actually value in Makeup, less amount of product but effective results! This foundation line has 50 shades, which means that you are likely to find your match! I have been advised a shade on top of what I have actually purchased, but I felt like it was bright, maybe because I’m used to my warm Fenty Beauty Pro filt’r soft matte foundation in the shade 380. I went for the Urban Decay Stay Naked Foundation in 60CG, which I also feel like it was a bit warmer, just a bit warmer than my skin tone but I thought it will do until and throughout summer. I am not planning to get two shades of foundation to see if the mixture will be perfect or just to switch whenever summer has come and my skin has gone a bit darker! I know people do that…I just have a budget …hopefully one day I can do that too, in fact let’s declare it… :)
I have added a bit of liquid Highlighter for that natural Glow and two lip products, a bit of the Barry M lip paint in unicorn to give me a pink lip and then my new favourite lip gloss the NYX filler instinct in Brunch drunk! Added my beautiful Clinique Lash power mascara and I just set my eyebrows by brushing them up with the Benefit clear brow setter gel!
As for my Hair, it was due for a wash after two weeks of wearing my single twists! I usually don’t have time to do everything the same day! So to keep it easy and less overwhelming for myself I usually kind of pre-poo and style before I wash the next day or in the evening!
I spray water and add coconut oil before undoing my hair, it definitely helps with the tangles and I use a good amount of coconut oil as I’m preparing the hair for a wash at the same time! The Murray’s edge control is just for a little slay and style… et voila!!
